This will be the first public performance of a substantial part of the project, Yiddish Revolutionaries,a performance of Yiddish songs, klezmer music and readings by Yoyvl. The show celebrates the history of the Jewish left and its prime aim is to perform a wonderful range of songs – expressing love, anger, despair, pathos, resistance and hope, and also humour, intertwined with klezmer music and narrations.
